While this site primary function is to serve our members, we also serve the public, providing technical expertise to those who may have a question, concern or just plain curiosity about a structural matter. Our goal is to ensure that buildings and other structures are designed according to the best engineering practices while meeting or exceeding the safety standards necessary to provide maximum protection to society.

Whether or not that you are a practicing structural engineer, we invite you to explore our site's pages. Any questions, comments, or suggestions will receive prompt attention. Thanks for stopping by.

member activities ...

Our members have a monthly dinner meeting for a program of topical interest (a one hour PDH certificate is given for attendance). Visiting structural engineers are always welcome. We also sponsor professional seminars, webinars and other presentations, which help keep our members current in the latest news and design techniques of our profession.

SEAOG also hosts a periodic awards dinner at which the more notable structural designs of our members are recognized.

SEAOG Directors welcomes ideas for improving the profession, as well as suggested improved practices.

The Young Members Group has been named as a finalist for the NCSEA YMG of the Year Award.

Finalists will be publicly recognized and the award will be presented at the Summit's Wednesday night reception.
